Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East (ASE), the contracting division of The Centre for Applied Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London, was commissioned by Holleran Mouchel Parkman Joint Venture (HMPJV) on behalf of Southern Water to undertake an archaeological watching brief during the excavation of groundworks associated with the construction of a new sewer at the Land West of Kemps, Hurstpierpoint. No archaeological deposits were discovered during the excavations. The work was undertaken between the 11th December 2007 and the 19th of February 2008.
