Abstract: |
A medieval granite wayside cross in a prominent position at a junction on the main Penzance to St Just road (A3071) was badly damaged by a lorry in February 2008. As a result of the dramatic collision, the cross was broken into three pieces. Restoration of the cross, organised by Cornwall Council Historic Environment Projects took place in October 2008. |
