Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out land north of 24, Hollesley Road, Alderton in advance of the submission of a planning application to re-develop the site. A thick layer of subsoil was present throughout the site from which a single Later Prehistoric flint was recovered. No cut features were identified within the trenches but a few sherds of medieval pottery were collected from the topsoil. |
