Abstract: |
Excavation of footings revealed stone foundations for two structures. One of these contained a cellar and dates from no earlier than the early 18th century; it is depicted on early Ordnance Survey maps. The other is probably of similar date but may already have been demolished and replaced by the 19th century. A few sherds of late medieval and early post-medieval pottery came from post-medieval made gound. |
