Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Videotext Communications Ltd to carry out archaeological recording and post-excavation analysis for Channel 4's 'Time Team' at Chapel Head, Warboys, Cambridgeshire. This comprised of a small geophysical survey and 12 machine-excavated trenches. The aim of the investigation was to confirm or deny the presence of a medieval chapel on the site. Sparse evidence denoted a medieval building, however, this could not confirm the presence of the chapel. Other linear features were discovered relating to Late Iron Age/ Early Romano-British activity. |
