Abstract:		 An Archaeological evaluationw as carried out on land at 21, Latimer Street, Anstey, Leicestershire (SK550 085) on the 16th November 2006. This work was in advance of the proposed demolition of existing buildings and the construction of twelve appartments. This work was carried out on behalf of JA Ball New Homes Ltd by University of Leicester Archaeological Services. A total of two evaluation trenches were excavated, the archeological results of which were negative. The archive will be deposited with Leicestershire County Council (Accesssion No. XA16 2007).
