Abstract:		 University of Leicester Archaeological Services carried out an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching for Mr. J. Hutson on land at 9 Pond street, Seagrave, Leicestershire ( SK 61751743 ). The work was undertaken as part of an archaeological impact assessment in advance of residential development. The evaluation confirmed the absence of archaeological deposits within the area examined and was therefore negative. The archive is to be deposited with Leicestershire County Council, Sites and Monuments Record, under Accession number X.A95.2008
