Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out by ULAS at a site at 13, Pump Lane, Asfordby, Leicestershire (SK 706 188) for Mr. A Lennon during groundworks associated with a new dwelling. The site is situated within an area of potential archaeological significance, within the historic medieval and post-medieval settlement core of the village of Asfordby. Topsoil stripping and a single foundation trench were watched, but no archaeological features or finds associated with archaeological features were discovered. The archive for this project will be deposited with Leicestershire County Council with accession number X.A76.2008.
