Abstract: |
An archaeological strip, plan and sample operation was undertaken for Mr R Uppal in advance of a stable and menage. The site, covering 0.29ha, lies between the medieval villages of Gt Easton and Bringhurst and is adjacent to a known prehistoric settlement. The excavation of two trenches and a topsoil/subsoil strip of the development area were observed. No archaeological deposits or features were present. A single sherd of Saxon pottery was rcovered from the topsoil. |
