Abstract:		 Eight trial trenches were observed on 22nd December 2010 by Cameron Archaeology and an architect and engineer from Angus Council. The area had been cleared in 1975 when sheltered housing was built but there was also earlier infilling of a possible water course. No archaeological features or finds were recorded during the current work.
