Abstract: |
In March 2010, Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out a programme of archaeological investigation via 'strip, map and record' and archaeological monitoring and recording on land at Adam's Yard, Hertford, Hertfordshire (NGR TL 32577 12677), during redevelopment. The programme revealed evidence of the19th-century buildings which lined Adam's Yard, as well as truncation. The remains may have been the basement of a malt house, a possible malt kiln and two other buildings. The work also revealed a late-18th to mid-19th-century wall and residual medieval pottery sherds. |
