Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation by trial-trenching was carried out in June 2011 in advance of the construction of two detached dwellings with cart lodges, one pair of semi-detached dwellings and a new vehicular access at land to the rear of White Gates, Sudbury Road, Lavenham. The evaluation has revealed no significant archaeological deposits and has shown that this site has not been the focus of any significant activity in the past
