Abstract: |
Context One Archaeological Services Ltd carried out an Archaeological Watching Brief on behalf of Ms Gemma Rich as a condition of granting planning permission for the erection of a new dwelling. The request for the investigation was made by Mr Graham Tait (Archaeological Officer, Devon County Council) as the Site is situated within the historic town of Totnes, between the Guildhall and the Priory. The archaeological work involved the monitoring of all groundworks for the purpose of identifying and recording any archaeological remains, features and deposits present. No archaeological features or artefacts were observed or recovered. |
