Abstract: |
A photographic survey was carried out in October 2011 in advance of works to alter and extend an existing dwellinghouse at no. 12, Holts Lane, Donington le Heath, Coalville. The existing property is a two-storey, '2-up. 2-down', end of terrace with a single storey side extension along with a single storey outshot to the front elevation that is shared with the neighbouring property. The property is constructed of brick with a roughcast render finish and a slate roof with a chimney stack in the gable wall. The historic mapping evidence suggests that the property dates to the mid-19th century although there is no obvious dating evidence for the building. |
