Abstract:		 A Level 2 Survey was carried out by Trigpoint Conservation and Planning in August 2009 in advance of works to demolish the existing group of farm buildings at Six Acres, 17, The Ridgeway, Rothley (formerly known as West Fields Farm). The existing group comprise of a farmhouse with an attached barn, a pair of cottages and a range of redundant stock buildings, all set around three sides of a narrow rectangular farm-yard. The buildings are mainly constructed of brick with an irregular slate rubble plinth and a mix of Welsh slate and pantile roof coverings. There is an exposed timber frame in the end gable of the farmhouse. The archive will be deposited with the Leicestershire Museums, Arts and Records Service (X.A180.2009).
