Abstract:		 In May and June 2011 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out an archaeological monitoring and recording at 203-209 Merton Road, Wandsworth, SW18 (NGR TL 25216 73830). The monitoring was commissioned by Studio V Architects on behalf of their client HV Properties LLP in compliance with a planning condition attached to planning permission for the erection of a part three/part four storey building providing 14 flats, a hall for D1/D2 use, ground level parking spaces and cycle spaces. The monitoring followed a programme of historic building recording conducted by AS (Smith et al 2010). The site is situated lies just outside an area identified as an Archaeological Priority Area. The site had a potential for prehistoric, Romano-British and post-medieval archaeological remains. In the event the monitoring revealed no archaeological features or finds.
