Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	One evaluation trench was excavated on the site designated PDZ10 as part of the London 2012 Olympic Development. The trench was excavated to the level of the natural gravels, which were cut by a small updatable ditch. This were overlain by alluvial sequences, and then by possible relict landsurfaces of field soil. These deposits were then overlain by 19th-20th century made ground deposits, which also sealed the trench.
