The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An evaluation by trial trenching and topographic survey along the proposed route of the Edingale to Drakelow gas pipeline. Three sites were investigated along the route of the pipeline. Two trenches were excavated at the site of Walton Hill, Derbyshire, to investigate the environs of several probable prehistoric ditched enclosures. A single trench was excavated at the site of Coton Road in an area known to include extant crop marks probably relating to the pressence of a former brick kiln. At the site of Rosliston Road potential medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow had been recorded and was surveyed in order to capture the earthworks in profile.
