The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The redevelopment of Springfield Methodist church entailed demolishing the rear section of the building and retaining the façade fronting onto Wandsworth Road. The present building was constructed in 1902 with a secondary block added to the front of the building replacing 201 and 202 Wandsworth Road between the dates of 1913 and 1932. The building is not listed but lies within Wandsworth Road Conservation Area. A targeted watching brief was carried out during the building's demolition and alteration. A fabric analysis of the building was undertaken and the structure, internally and externally, was comprehensively photographically recorded. Previously existing drawn plans of the building were considered to be a sufficient record of the building and no further drawings were made. No recommendations for further building recording have arisen from this work.
