Abstract:		 Watching brief during geotechnical investigations identified modern topsoil and demolition layers Watching brief for the excavation of trial pits and geotechnical boreholes at Barrowcliff Community Primary School. During groundwork modern topsoil and demolition layers sealed the natural geology. Only small quantities of post-medieval to early modern pottery were uncovered from the topsoil.
