Abstract:		 A trial trench evaluation was carried out on land to the rear of No. 67 High Street, Maxey. The only feature of archaeological note was an undated ditch found in the northeastern part of the site. An unstratified French jetton of 14/15th century date was found in the same area. Further to the west, the site had been much disturbed by modern rubbish pits.
