Abstract: |
Several archaeological features were revealed in the evaluation, suggesting that the previously known site extends into the area. Apart from a possible medieval pit, and Neolithic or Bronze Age worked flint, all the datable features date from the later prehistoric period. There was no sign of Roman activity which is surprising considering that a villa has been recorded just to the south-east. |
