Abstract: Four evaluation trenches were excavated within the property. These identified a buried soil layer of Roman date as well as two ditches and a possible kiln waste pit, dated to the mid-late 2nd century AD. A further ditch was also identified and dated to the late Iron Age-early Roman period.
