Abstract: |
The barn at Cinder Hill is a single aisled barn, probably 17th century, which was added to an adjoining medieval aisled hall. It contains a number of significant features including the largely intact timber frame and close studding in the party wall. Historic building recording was carried out after conversion work had begun, to fulfil a condition of planning consent. |
