Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the soil scrape on the footprints of two wind turbines. The turbines were located to the NE and SW of the Bruxiehill turbine observed in 2009. Nothing was found at the location of Turbine 1 but rig and furrow was uncovered at Turbine 2 in addition to five flint pieces and flakes probably dragged along the furrow plough lines. These provide further evidence of prehistoric activity in the immediate area. |
