Abstract:		 South West Archaeology Ltd. were commissioned to undertake archaeological monitoring and recording of land west of Deerpark Farm, Charles, Brayford, Devon, in advance of the construction of a stable and fodder store. A series of shallow linear features containing North Devon medieval coarsewares were uncovered on the western edge of the development, suggesting a contemporary farmstead lay somewhere in the immediate vicinity.
