Abstract:		 The watching brief was conducted on the cutting of a service run to existing service connections, the limited surface-strip for an area of hard-standing and the excavation of a shaft need to create a sewer header. The watching brief recorded two cut features of probable prehistoric date, evidence for historic landscaping over the Flats and evidence of mid-20th century truncation.
