Abstract: |
In March 2003 OA carried out a fieldwalking survey in advance of a gas pipeline. 18th-20th century pottery and clay pipe fragments were found, thought to be the result of general domestic activity and distributed through agricultural processes such as manuring. In April and May 2003 a watching brief was carried out along the gas pipe route and lthough alluvial origin subsoil was identified no archaeological remains were encountered. |
