The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Northamptonshire Archaeology conducted a fieldwalking and metal detection surveys on an arable field to the east of Lancaster Way Business Park, Ely. A light spread of worked flints were recovered, but with no outstanding concentration. A spread of Roman pottery as well as a moderate scatter of medieval pottery and post-medieval material was recovered Two fragments of prehistoric pottery and a single sherd of middle Saxon pottery were retrieved. The metal detector included a fragment of a medieval silver ring brooch and a quarter of a lead seal. The work was commissioned by CgMs Consulting on behalf of their clients Grovemere Property Ltd.
