Abstract:		 Northamptonshire Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation on land off Gidding Road, Sawtry. The trial trenching consisted of 35 trenches which revealed one archaeological feature comprising a large ditch, which produced a small amount of Roman pottery. The remaining trenches were devoid of archaeological deposits.
