Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was conducted for Mrs Angela Tebbutt during construction of a new bungalow at 43 Panxworth Road, South Walsham. A large pit containing substantial amounts of medieval pottery and indicating previously unknown evidence of settlement here in medieval times was uncovered in the north-west corner of the new building. A ditch and a brick structure of post-medieval date, and two ditches of unknown date were also found
