Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology undertook an archaeological watching brief during the removal of redundant electric power line poles between Cookham Village and Cookham Rise, Berkshire on 6th October 2011. The watching brief recorded ploughsoil horizons overlying alluvial deposits. No archaeological features were observed but remains of ploughed out ridge and furrow and a low north-south aligned bank were visible within the immediately surrounding fields. |
