Abstract: |
Greenfish Energy on behalf of their client John Sutcliffe commissioned Alder Archaeology to carry out a Watching Brief during the excavation of foundations for a small wind turbine at Leys of Dun Farm near Montrose. The work (site code MT28) was carried out on the 2nd of August in good weather conditions. The excavation revealed the remains of a farm track and pieces iron in the topsoil, but no significant archaeological remains were discovered. |
