Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by a team from Cambridge Archaeological Unit on a site off Madingley Road at the Vetenary School of Medicine, University of Cambridge. The trenches produced evidence of furrows that correlate with cropmarks of medieval ridge and furrow to the north of the site. The lack of other archaeological features from earlier time-frames implies that the site lies outside the known settlement areas recorded from previous excavations carried out within the surrounding landscape.
