Abstract: |
A site inspection of the course of a new access road at Millhouse Farm, Dunning located 0.30m of dark brown sandy clay overlying natural clay. No archaeological deposits or features were located. The area around Dunning has a rich record of cropmarks representing Prehistoric, Roman and later settlement. The site of this new access road lies on the south side of Dunning in an area where the ground begins to rise up to the Common of Dunning. |
