Abstract:		 An archaeological fieldwalking survey was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in January 2010 on Land at North West Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Concentrations of artefactual material dating to the Mesolithic to Early Bronze Age, Late Bronze Age to Middle Iron Age, Roman and medieval periods were identified within the north-western part of the site. A low level of artefactual material dating to these periods was recovered across the rest of the site. This material (together with a larger quantity of post-medieval material) exhibited no significant distribution, and may represent a 'background noise' of artefacts resulting from prolonged agricultural use of the landscape.
