Abstract: |
Northamptonshire Archaeology undertook archaeological building recording at The Summerhouse, Forty Hall, Enfield. The former building, thought to date from the eighteenth century, is built of red brick and was deliberately demolished in c1951. It appears to have been constructed in one phase, but includes additional alterations and embellishments. The purpose of the recording action was to record the remains of the structure prior to works to stabilise the walls and prevent further deterioration. |
