Abstract: |
Northamptonshire Archaeology carried out building recording on a coach house at Mortimers, 33 Rectory Lane, Milton Malsor, Northamptonshire. The coach house was built in ironstone between 1885 and 1899 and comprises a carriage house with stables and an upper storey hayloft. It is roofed in slate with decorative ceramic ridge tiles. There are internal brick jambs for the doors and windows, brick floors and brick partition walls. The doors and windows and their fittings are probably original. The rainwater goods and electric light were installed in the mid 20th century. |
