Abstract: |
Two 30m and two 15m trenches were excavated to evaluate the area of a new car park 300m north-west of the main school buildings, which occupy the site of a medieval manor, an early 16th-century palace built by Henry VIII, and later rebuilds of the house. Only disturbed modern remains were recorded. |
