Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out at Northfleet East Sub Station, Northfleet, Kent (centred: NGR TQ 62014 72490) during improvement works on behalf of the National Grid (planning reference: GR/07/0595). The site lies within an archaeologically sensitive area and is surrounded by known sites dating from the prehistoric period to medieval times. Due to the current land use as a substation there has been high amounts of terracing and landscaping across the site. No archaeological remains or finds were encountered.
