Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	A watching brief was undertaken during construction of a new residential development at the rear of the property. The only archaeological features were 19th- and 20th-century surfaces and a well situated within a demolished rear range. No earlier features were present, and the site appeared to have been levelled when area was reordered in the mid 19th century.
