Abstract: |
Following a geophysical survey, an archaeological evaluation comprising 52 trenches totalling 3.3km discovered prehistoric, medieval and post-medieval remains. There was a group of cremations in one of the trenches. A 35m wide spread of silty material in one of the trenches on the line of the Fen Causeway could have been its low agger. There was also a group of undated features in the northwest corner of the site. |
