Abstract:		 In February 2011, an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology on land north of Bill Crane Way, Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The evaluation was carried out in response to the submission of a planning application for the development of the land for a new residential development and areas of open space. A small area of probable Bronze Age occupation was present at the western edge of the site next to a small watercourse. Other features included an undated ditch, furrow, vegetation disturbance and a modern gully.
