Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the groundworks associated with the lowering of the ground level in the Cart Lodge and a new driveway at Warbleton Priory, Rushlake Green, East Sussex. The watching brief resulted in the discovery of a number of lime kilns, which although undated are probably associated with later modifications and building work at The Priory rather than the original monastic complex. A number of other Post Medieval features were recorded, and Post Medieval artefacts were recovered during the watching brief.
