Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by ULAS at Cutts Close, Oakham, Rutland, SK 8609 0903 in August 2010 for Rutland County Council and English Heritage, during groundworks associated with the installation of play equipment. Most of the area appeared to be reinstated ground, probably in connection with a large storm sewer running under the area. No archaeological features were noted, nor any artefacts earlier than the 19th century.
