Abstract:		 Archaeological evaluation at Barnsley Transport Interchange revealed the remains of a stone hard standing that may relate to the former 19th-century railway sheds and carriage works. No direct structural remains of these buildings were located and the archaeological potential of the area is considered to be low. A photographic survey was also undertaken to record the remains of a railway viaduct.
