Abstract:		 Addyman Archaeology were commissioned to complete an archaeological evaluation on the Playing Fields to the E of Callander Primary School in Callander, within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The evaluation was completed as part of the planning process prior to the development of the site into a landscaped rugby pitch and all weather playing surface. 19 trenches were opened across the site and showed this to have undergone some degree of landscaping and alteration. This comprised 8% of the total area. No archaeological features or discoveries of any note were made.
