The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Between 21st and 23rd October 2008 an archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of gravel extraction on a 2.4 hectare plot of land located on the south side of Baston outgang Road opposite Baston Fen, Baston nr. Langtoft in Lincolnshire. Five 50m long trenches were dug to sample this area, but no archaeology, apart from a small undated pit or posthole and a possible ditch was found. Likewise the natural features such as the tree throws and palaeochannels contained no trace of archaeological remains (worked flint or flintworking waste).
