Abstract:		 In May 2010 a Level 2 historic building survey and watching brief was carried out by NAU Archaeology at Lyngate Farm House in the village of Hethersett, South Norfolk ahead of its demolition. The resulting survey identified a farmhouse of largely 19th-century date with 20th-century additions but preserving at its north-western elevation the gable wall of a probable 17th-century farmhouse of similar dimension to the core which survived into the 21st century.
