Abstract:		 In May 2011 an archaeological evaluation was carried out on a piece of land to the rear of 96 High Street, Stony Stratford, Buckinghamshire. One trench was excavated within the area of the proposed development. Archaeology was revealed within the trench in the form of three ditches and two pits. One of the ditches contained six sherds of medieval pottery with a broad date range from the 13th -17th centuries as well as a quantity of animal bone. The further two ditches and one of the pits were undated whilst the second pit was modern in date.
